IETF MOQ meetings, the MOQ-dedicated conference, regional meetups and the industry shows where MOQ shipped real demos. For each event we track the MOQ-specific sessions, stand demos and talk recordings — and pull in our own coverage as the pipeline ingests it.
The video-engineering workshop where an MOQ-heavy ACM MHV track and a co-located IETF hybrid interim are being planned (Cisco may host in Boulder). The call for papers is open — if you are doing MOQ research, this is the deadline that matters first in 2027.
The MOQ working group meets in person again weeks after the Seattle interop. Coming out of an interop targeted at draft-22, this session is where the glide path to Working Group Last Call gets tested in public. Session schedule not yet published.
The next virtual interim of the IETF MOQ working group (interim-2026-moq-30). Virtual interims run roughly every two weeks; recordings land on the IETF YouTube channel.
The East-Coast sibling of the Las Vegas show. No MOQ sessions or demos have been announced yet; if the spring show was any indication, first appearances of new MOQ tooling often land here before wider rollout.
Two days of face-to-face interop testing followed by two days of issue discussion. The interop target is draft-ietf-moq-transport-22, with draft-18 accepted best-effort. The closest thing to a standards deadline the protocol has had this year.

Software Mansion’s real-time conference had probably the densest MOQ programme of 2026 outside DEMOQED: a full MOQ workshop, pull-based streaming, track switching, mobile moq-kit, and production lessons from Vindral and nanocosmos.

The show where MOQ stopped being a standards story and became a stand story: around a dozen vendors ran live MOQ demos on the floor, from nanocosmos and Vindral to Varnish, Red5 and Broadpeak — most of them with named partners on the same booth.

The Tokyo Video Tech meetup series went deep on MOQ relay engineering: NTT Docomo Business / SkyWay on the three challenges and design decisions from validating MOQ — running raw QUIC and WebTransport on one port, and load-balancing stateful QUIC without QUIC-LB.
