Hi Cullen, Thanks for the great feedback! Using a Top-N filter to bound the feedback volume seems useful. In our previous RTC SFU implementations, the meaning of “Top N” was application-dependent: it could be the N most recent active speakers, or it could be based on a more sophisticated scoring policy. My initial thought is therefore that the ranking and selection mechanism is a Relay implementation or deployment policy. However, the draft may still need to define how a filtered report is represented, so that the recipient knows it is partial. Regards, Ronghua

I really like this draft and I think it is getting at some hard problems. One additional thing that I wish I could get feedback on what how often fetch had cache misses of objects that had been in the cache of a relay and were evicted before their original publisher provided timeout. I have also wondered about using Top N filter to help filter feedback to get just the most important feedback. I don’t have a = design for this but it seems like it might be possible.
